1. Providing programs, supports and services for young people doing it tough should be a priority for Governments at all levels.

 
 

2. Aboriginal owned and controlled solutions must be a matter of first principle in working with Aboriginal young people.

 
 

3. Government should significantly increase funding in the Youth Sector to provide more individual support for young people.

 
 

4. Public funding would be better spent on preventing youth incarceration, rather than putting children in juvenile detention.
