All young people have the right to a good education. This includes having basic literacy (the ability to read and write), numeracy (the ability to count and do maths), as well as the right knowledge and skills to succeed in whatever career they wish to take in the future. Education also gives young people practical support in their day to day lives. So what does taking action on Education look like?

Affordable Housing

Having a safe, secure place to live is one of the most basic needs of all human beings and is essential to living a happy and healthy life. For young people, having access to education, skill development and work opportunities are important for developing independence, but this can be seriously impacted on if they do not have stable living conditions and can negatively impact a persons mental, physical and social wellbeing.
